Short biography
Draft for Richard to approve.
Richard Ward is the artist behind Dirt Creature, a ceramic and mixed-media practice shaped by painting, natural building and life off-grid in the Arizona desert. His sculptures bring clay into contact with rawhide, reclaimed metal and collected minerals, exploring how forms change and find new ways to hold together.
The longer biography and artist statement are on the About page.
