Pit Fire Rattlesnake
Draft: facts and copy not yet confirmed by Richard.
Cochise College hired me as lead sculptor to work with students in its 3D Design program on a sculpture for the Pit Fire Festival, seven feet in every direction. Built from steel, glass, rope and wood, the rattlesnake brought the work out of the studio and into a public event.
The project combined making and teaching. I worked with the students to bring the sculpture together at a scale that required a shared effort.
