I started making art at fifteen. Looking back, breaking something apart and finding another way for it to exist has been part of the work from the beginning.

These paintings came long before the ceramic vessels. They were an early place to explore fragmentation and reconfiguration: how much could change while something recognizable remained?

The materials have changed over the years. The question keeps showing up.
